University College Explore Website

Explore

Explore is a program at Arizona State University designed to help students discover their strengths, interests, and career goals through tailored courses, advising, and resources. I designed and developed the Explore website to provide a seamless user experience, making it easier for students to navigate their academic journey.

Throughout this design process, I created all new pages in alignment with Arizona State University's brand guidelines while ensuring compatibility with the available components in Drupal.

Project Objectives       

Enhance User Experience (UX) – Improve site navigation, readability, and accessibility to ensure a seamless experience for all users.

Modernize Visual Design – Incorporate a fresh, updated look with  engaging colors, new imagery, and dynamic backgrounds while maintaining Arizona State Universitys brand guidelines.

Refine Content Structure – Organize information in a clear, intuitive way that allows users to quickly find relevant resources.

Explore Sitemap

The Explore website needed a clear, intuitive structure for both new and returning Arizona State University students, as well as their parents. I collaborated with the Creative Director and Content & Communications Strategist to develop a well-organized sitemap.

Wireframing

Using the sitemap, Explore team content, and audience needs as a foundation, I created a wireframe to shape the design. I then refined it in Figma, developing a high-fidelity mockup.
