University College Wayfinding Signage

Arizona State University Wayfinding

This project involved designing wayfinding signage for University College at Arizona State University to guide students to its newly relocated office space. The signage was developed to align with University College’s visual communication goals while adhering to Arizona State University's brand and wayfinding guidelines.

In addition to designing the signage, I coordinated with the Arizona State University Print Lab to oversee the printing and installation process, ensuring a seamless implementation that enhances accessibility to student resources.

Project Objectives

Develop clear signage that guides students to University College’s new location while adhering to Arizona State University’s branding and wayfinding standards.

Ensure intuitive, highly legible signage that improves wayfinding efficiency and supports accessibility to key student resources.

Coordinate with the Arizona State University's Print Lab to manage the printing and installation process, ensuring seamless execution.

Ideation

I set out to design a clean, functional layout that prioritized clarity and usability. From the beginning, I knew I wanted to incorporate the seven University College symbols in a thoughtful way—using them as intentional design elements rather than simple decoration. I began sketching concepts and developed multiple layout options to explore how the information could be presented effectively and intuitively.
